Kimi doesn't really mind parties, but she doesn't like them too much, either. She can be as much of a wallflower as she wants, but at the end of the day there are too many people and there's too much noise and it's just stressful and she wants to dip out way before they're over.

These days, though, she has more of a reason to go to them. Her girlfriend likes them, and Kimi likes her girlfriend. Mami is everything she isn't - she's sociable, she's popular and cheerful, and Kimi is only too happy to go to the party and let Mami socialize while she watches her girlfriend flit around and charm people. She, meanwhile, stands aloof, off to the side, arms crossed in observation.

She just thinks she's keeping to herself and is too shy to really talk to anyone else. However, with her all-black outfit, the chains she wears on her hip, the black lipstick, the spiky ear piercings, and the fact that she's quite tall for a girl her age, Kimi has no idea that she comes off as, well, kind of cool and intimidating.

Mami bounces over to her, and Kimi smiles. "Hey, having fun?"

Mami is rather the opposite. She loves parties, flitting from group to group, chatting and laughing, sharing in the good vibes. It's the kind of place that's made for someone like her. Outgoing, chipper, and popular, it just looks like a natural fit.

The same can't be said of her partner, and Mami does know that. She counts herself lucky that Kimi even bothers, but she knows that her girlfriend definitely doesn't have fun. It's not ideal, but it isn't like putting herself out there is harmful, and it isn't like Mami doesn't reward her.

Oh, she knows what her friends all think, and she revels in the looks that they give both her and Kimi. She's not shy at all about being affectionate, and she kind of loves the gossip that surrounds their relationship. The buzz is clearly that Kimi has Mami wrapped around her little finger, and that Mami has a thing for being dommed by hot goth girls, or that she has a thing for athletes.. The thought of that being the opinion going around her social circle absolutely tickles Mami.

Mami bounces up, sliding away from a group of girls with a wave and a blown kiss, and she immediately reaches for the taller girl's hand. Squeezing it, she slips in next to Kimi and cuddles against her.

"Loads. But...you look like you wanna get out of here. I know parties aren't your scene, so we can go whenever. I've seen everyone I needed to tonight."

Mami's cute, and she's good with people, and Kimi doesn't really mind going into situations where she gets to watch her girlfriend shine like that. Her introvert nature means she's definitely more likely to want to bow out before Mami is, but Mami tends to be pretty tolerant of that, which is nice.

Though, that doesn't mean she's any less looking forward to when Mami decides she's had enough for the night and Kimi can stop being the wallflower and nursing the same poorly mixed gin and tonic that she's been sipping on all night. Kimi slides one arm over Mami's shoulders, liking how the shorter girl really just feels nice and warm against her.

"It's getting a little crowded for me, yeah," she murmurs. "You want to head to one of our rooms?" Mami's is nicer, since she's a year older, but Kimi's is a little closer. Fortunately, they're both singles.

"Okay."

Mami snuggles up close, almost nuzzling Kimi, glad to be wrapped up in the taller girl's arms. She's very fond of the way that they just seem to slot together, at just the right height. There's nothing quite like it in the world.

Pitching her voice low, she practically purrs out her reply.

"I think mine, tonight. I wanna reward you for coming out with me. You didn't have to, but you did for me...and that deserves a treat."

Then her voice rises to a less intimate pitch, clearly more meant to be audible if someone's eavesdropping.

"Let's go, babe. Lead on!"

It's a good thing that nobody's looking at them right now, or else they would have seen the exact moment where cool, collected, enigmatic, badass Kimi turns pink in the cheeks. "I, uh," she begins, trying to not stammer out all of her words in a setting where people could hear her. Her mind is now going to all the things that she and her girlfriend get up to, and wondering if it's more of the same (which, to be clear, is not a bad thing) or if Mami's got something unforeseen planned, and--

--right. She can't think about that too much. She tenses, trying to not show off that she's blushing. "Y-yeah, let's get out of here," she murmurs, trying to be cool and really, really failing.

Luckily it's just a short staircase down to the street and the cool spring air, which helps make her marginally less horny.

Mami had definitely intended for that to be the case, and she's grinning ear to ear. She loved having that effect on people, especially Kimi. She's not really got anything crazy planned, unless Kimi feels like letting Mami tie her to the bed counts as truly crazy, but the thought of it gives her kind of a rush. Squeezing Kimi's hand, she flashes a little wink to a couple of her friends that are passing by, molds herself to her girlfriend's side, and follows her down the stairs.

Once they're outside, she takes a deep breath, drinking in the fresh air. As nice as parties are, the smell of alcohol and people is a little overwhelming even for her.

"Thanks. For coming out tonight. Seriously."

Turning, she pops up onto her tiptoes and kisses Kimi's cheek.

"Let's go. I'm super horny. And I get the feeling you are, too."

At least it's not a frat party, those things always reek. But it is much nicer to be outside, to have an excuse to maybe step a little closer to Mami, to hold her hand and enjoy how warm and soft it is.

The kiss is so chaste and sweet, and so very much at odds with what Mami says next. It takes a moment for Kimi to respond. "I mean... I wasn't until you started talking like that," she says, as though it really changes anything.

The five minutes' walk to her girlfriend's dorm feels so damn long right now. "So, uh. What did you have in mind?"

Mami feels similarly. She's generally not fond of frat houses. There's just too much sweat and smoke, and nothing about it is pleasant, even if she has friends that go.

Her grin turns a little sly at Kimi's question and she hums thoughtfully, making a bit of a show of things.

"How...do you feel about being tied up? Just a little. To the bedposts, or...y'know...something like that. I got some really, really pretty ribbons, and I think it might be fun."

Kimi coughs, suddenly. Ah, she hadn't been expecting that.

It's an interesting proposal. She and Mami haven't done anything like that before.

But can she say it really sounds bad?

Her cheeks feel radiantly warm. "U-uh, I wouldn't, you know," she fidgets, "mind that so much. If you don't mind taking the lead..."

As though Mami does anything else.

"Not at all!"

Mami practically chirps, popping up onto tiptoes to kiss Kimi's cheek before snuggling up against their arm as they walk. She's glad. It's exciting to try new things, and Kimi is just perfect for basically all of this. A real jackpot, this one.

"I'm sure it'll be fun. And if it isn't, they're ribbons..." she runs her fingers along the muscles of her partner's arms. "I'm sure you can just flex and break right through them."

And that'd be kinda hot, too.

It's a little chilly out, but definitely warmer than they'd been in that stuffy, crowded party. Plus, Mami's nice and warm, and Kimi just enjoys the sensation of her girlfriend being nestled into her arms. Ah, she's so cuddly and warm and cute...

If only people knew how kinky she could be. Oh well, not like Kimi minds at all. Kinda the opposite of that.

The touch on her arms makes her hairs stand on end, leaving goosebumps in the wake of Mami's fingers. "I wish, ha," she says with a little chuckle. "I'm not some sorta she-Hulk, you know. If I could do that it probably wouldn't be very good at tying me up, right?"

It's not a super long walk, and before long, they're here.
